Needlework Crafts Group

The hard part about a craft project is not the craft. It is finding an afternoon where you actually sit down and do it.

Wilton Library sets aside every Thursday afternoon for exactly that. Knitters, crocheters, needlepointers, embroiderers and anyone else working by hand are welcome to bring whatever is currently half-finished and get on with it in company. People swap ideas and gossip, which is most of the appeal, and the rest is simply protected time.

Good to know. Free, drop in, no registration. Bring your own materials. This is a social gathering rather than a class: there is no instruction and no beginner lesson, so you want to be comfortable working on your own.

Two Thursdays off. There is no session on November 26 or December 24.

Where to go. Wilton Library at 137 Old Ridgefield Road, in Wilton Center.
