Scotty: Live Looping

It sounds like a band. It is one person.

Scotty works with a loop pedal, recording a guitar part live, stacking vocals on top of it, adding percussion, and building the whole arrangement in front of you while you watch it happen. Nothing is pre recorded. The interest is partly in the songs and partly in seeing the thing assembled from nothing.

He played Whitlock's in September. Friday the sixteenth is the return.

Where to go. Whitlock's sits on Greenwood Avenue in the middle of Bethel, a veteran owned Irish pub and neighborhood bar with made to order food, one of the better Irish whiskey lists around, and a standing welcome for dogs.
