Shoo Fly Blues

They were formed at a jam night. It shows, in the best way.

Shoo Fly Blues came out of the legendary jam nights at Danbury's Blues Alley and grew into one of Connecticut's finest blues and R&B outfits. The set leans on powerhouse material from Etta James, Susan Tedeschi and Janis Joplin, with rock pulled in around the edges.

They have played venues across Fairfield County including the Boxcar, the Redding Roadhouse and the Georgetown Saloon, as well as the New Hamburg Yacht Club Jazz Festival.

Six until nine on Saturday the seventeenth.
