Stained Glass: Foundations Workshop

Stained glass looks like patience, and it mostly is — but the cutting is the part that surprises people.

This workshop takes you through the entire process: selecting and scoring glass, grinding the edges true, wrapping in copper foil and soldering the seams. Everyone works toward a finished piece of their own rather than a practice sampler, so the skills arrive attached to something you will actually hang up.

Good to know. $435 for the session, in the Glass Studio at 273 Whisconier Road. Prices and openings change, so check the registration page before you plan around it.
