Sterling Silver Sandcast Ring Workshop

Molten silver, a sand mold and six hours. You leave wearing the result.

This hands-on workshop starts with 3D printed ring forms used to make molds in specialty casting sand. You melt silver in a crucible, pour it into your own mold, and cast the ring. From there the day moves into traditional jewelry bench work, sanding, filing, soldering, bezel fabrication and stone setting, turning the raw casting into a finished piece you would actually wear.
