Tea Light & Candle Holder

Winter light in Connecticut runs out around four in the afternoon, which is the best possible argument for making one of these.

Across two afternoons students design a luminous glass screen or tea-light holder in colours and patterns of their choosing, then let the kiln shape it into a functional piece. It works on a table, a mantel or a windowsill, and it does the most good on the shortest days.
