The Blacksmith's Gift

There is something about a gift that was made in a fire rather than bought in a queue.

As the days shorten, this festive blacksmithing weekend gathers people around the forge to make handmade presents. You start on small holiday pieces, decorative candy canes among them, then move on to a larger project. Bring your own idea or take one of the instructor's suggestions.

No experience needed. The Craft Center says experience is helpful but not required, so a complete beginner can take this.

Good to know. Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December, 10am to 4pm both days, in the Forge. Taught by Chris Doherty. For adults. The venue has not published a price for this one yet.
