Third Thursday Book Club: The Names

One decision, made in the first week of a life, and three versions of everything that follows.

Wilton Library's Third Thursday Book Club closes the year with The Names by Florence Knapp, longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medal. The novel runs on a single question, which is whether a name can genuinely alter the course of a life, and then follows the consequences with more patience than that premise might suggest. The club meets on the third Thursday of every month in the Rimer Room, and the library keeps a full list of forthcoming titles on its Third Thursday Book Club page.
