Turning a Stool with a Skew
Workshop & Classes

The skew chisel has a reputation, and it is entirely earned.
This two-day workshop is a deliberate exercise in control: using only a skew, a pencil and basic measuring tools, students design and turn three stool legs that have to match each other. Mastering the tool is half of it. The other half is precision — discovering how close is close enough when three pieces have to agree.
Good to know. Some spindle turning experience helps. $234 for both days, in the Wood Turning Studio at 273 Whisconier Road. Prices and openings change, so check the registration page before you plan around it.
Please check with the organizer if the event date, time or offer has changed.** LTO
