Wearable Wood

Turning small is harder than turning large, because there is nowhere for a mistake to go.

This hands-on workshop introduces the techniques of small-scale turning as students make a collection of wooden bangles, rings and other wearable pieces. The day covers selecting wood, safely shaping delicate forms, and finishing pieces that have to stand up to being worn rather than displayed.
