Young Makers Homeschool Full Day

At a moment when most of childhood happens through a screen, there is something clarifying about handing a kid a chisel.

The full-day option gives students ages 8 to 16 a whole Thursday moving across Brookfield's studios in clay, wood and metal, with enough time in each to actually finish things rather than sample them. Real workshops, real tools, instructors who treat the students as makers.

Good to know. Ages 8 to 16. $595 for the session, across the Brookfield Craft Center campus on Whisconier Road. Prices and openings change, so check the registration page before you plan around it.
