Young Makers Homeschool Half Day (Morning)

At a moment when most of childhood happens through a screen, there is something clarifying about handing a kid a chisel.

Young Makers moves students ages 8 to 16 across Brookfield's studios — clay, wood and metal — building practical skills through work they do with their hands. It is not a craft hour; it is a rotation through real workshops with real tools and instructors who treat the students as makers.

Good to know. Ages 8 to 16. $350 for the session, across the Brookfield Craft Center campus on Whisconier Road. Prices and openings change, so check the registration page before you plan around it.
