Ghosts of Ridgefield

The same four acres you can walk in daylight, except it is October and the sun has gone down.

Keeler Tavern's annual ghost tours return for three nights only. A guide leads you across the historic campus after dark, and what you meet along the way is storytelling with a historic twist rather than a haunted house — the museum's own past doing the haunting.

The museum has promised to reveal which ghostly figures will be turning up this year closer to the dates.

Good to know. Tours run 5 to 7 p.m. on each of the three nights, sitewide, and are recommended for ages 7 and up. Tickets go on sale in September.
