Poetry Workshop with Ira Joe Fisher, Group B

You arrive with one poem. It gets read, discussed, and sent back to you with revisions urged where they are needed. Poet Laureate Ira Joe Fisher runs these workshops twice a month, and the atmosphere is deliberately gentle, tactful and encouraging rather than the bloodsport that workshops sometimes become.

The promise is that you leave with ideas and a good creative feeling, which is a low bar to state out loud and a hard one to actually hit. Sessions run in the Randolph Board Room.

What to bring. One poem for the day, plus six copies, double-spaced so people can edit on the page.

Pick one group, not both. Group A meets on first Sundays and Group B on third Sundays, 1:30 to 3:30 pm. This listing is Group B. Register for one or the other.
