Sunday Brunch

Steak and eggs, or a brunch burger, or both if it has been that kind of week.

Whitlock's does brunch every Sunday from half eleven until two, and the kitchen makes the specials from scratch rather than pulling them off a steam table. The regular run includes New York steak and eggs, eggs benedict, a brunch burger, and French toast and pancakes.

On the other side of the bar there are mimosas, bellinis and bloody marys, with bottomless brunch beverages available if you are settling in. It is family friendly and comfortable rather than precious, which is the whole point of the place.

Good to know. Walk-ins are welcome and service stops at two, so it is not a late brunch.

Where to go. Whitlock's sits on Greenwood Avenue in the middle of Bethel, a veteran owned Irish pub and neighborhood bar with made to order food, one of the better Irish whiskey lists around, and a standing welcome for dogs.
