Poets & Prophets: A Formational Journey

After decades of building and proving, what comes next?

Poets & Prophets: A Formational Journey is a small cohort at The Meetinghouse for people who sense they can't simply carry on as before. Maybe the work that organized everything is easing, or the roles you loved don't hold all of you anymore, and there's a quiet hunger to give back in a way that matters differently now. The Meetinghouse doesn't call that stepping away. It calls it a threshold.

The name comes from two capacities of the soul the group works with. The Poet listens beneath the noise and reclaims memory, meaning, and identity after years of performance and productivity. The Prophet notices what's out of alignment and speaks up for what wants to be born, pointing toward coherence, justice, and wholeness.

The season moves through three stages, Foundations, Turning Inward, and Turning Outward, with three inner postures for crossing well: humility, wisdom, and integrity. It opens with a guided threshold practice, naming what feels unfinished, what no longer needs carrying, and what keeps quietly insisting as you think about how to give back.

Deborah Rundlett and Anne Elmendorf facilitate.

When and where. Ten Friday-morning gatherings at 10:30 in the Shield's Hall Gallery, with breaks for integration built in around Thanksgiving and the holidays. Most sessions run 90 minutes; the opening and closing sessions run two hours.

Good to know. This is a cohort that travels the season together, so plan to start with the group. The full Journey Itinerary is on The Meetinghouse site, and RSVPs go to Deborah@Meetinghouse.life.
