Dance, Celebrate and Support Local Youth at the Lighthouse Tea Dance

GREENWICH, Conn. — Turn up the music for a cause worth dancing for. Kids In Crisis invites the community to the 4th Annual Lighthouse Tea Dance on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Foundation House, in Greenwich.

The afternoon will include music by DJ Lady Tita, gourmet bites, and fashionable fun, all in support of Lighthouse, a Kids In Crisis program that creates welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies.

For many people, finding a safe place where they feel understood can change everything. Lighthouse offers peer-to-peer support groups and community events where youth can connect with friends and trusted adults without fear of judgement. Through art, games, and honest conversation, participants are given the chance to be heard and welcomed as they are.

“For many young people, finding a place where they feel understood can make a lasting difference,” said Tiffany Pippins, Lighthouse Program Manager at Kids In Crisis. “The Tea Dance brings our community together to celebrate LGBTQ+ youth and help Kids In Crisis bring Lighthouse to more communities throughout Fairfield County.”

This year’s Tea Dance is chaired by Bill Pierz and Chris Spiegelman, alongside a committee of community members committed to creating stronger support systems for LGBTQ+ youth.

Early bird tickets are $100 before August 15 and $125 beginning August 15 through the day of the event. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and community partners interested in helping Lighthouse reach more young people.

Kids In Crisis gratefully recognizes this year’s sponsors:
