munity members and supporters to celebrate inclusion, community, and the power of connection, while raising critical funds for SPHERE’s life-enriching programs.

The 2025 Gala will honor John and Peggy Loehr with the Commitment to Service Award. Longtime champions of SPHERE and dedicated volunteers across numerous local causes, the Loehrs have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to bettering the lives of others. Their ongoing support of SPHERE’s mission, whether through event volunteering, advocacy, or celebrating the achievements of our members, has made a lasting and meaningful impact. “Our Reach for the Stars Gala is more than a fundraiser, it’s a celebration of what’s possible when people come together with compassion and purpose,” said Lori Berisford, President and Board Chair of SPHERE. “We’re thrilled to honor John and Peggy Loehr, whose selfless service inspires all of us.” SPHERE empowers adults with developmental, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities by offering social, cultural, and enrichment programs that foster personal growth, joy, and connection.

With strong partnerships across the arts and nonprofit sectors, SPHERE members participate in everything from musical theater to community service, building confidence and meaningful relationships along the way.
