The Ridgefield Commission on Aging is pleased to invite local seniors to the Senior Voices presentation on Tuesday, September 9 from 1:00-2:30 PM, spotlighting the many services, resources, and opportunities available at our library to older adults in the community.
Hosted at the Ridgefield Library, this informative session will feature remarks from Library Director Brenda McKinley, Andy Forsyth, Assistant Library Director, Meg Klein, Head of Circulation and Rita Covelli, Head of Adult Services. Attendees will learn about a wide range of offerings tailored for seniors, including home delivery of materials, technology classes, STEAM to go, free museum passes, kits to help people with dementia stay sharp and many more. September is Library Card Sign Up month and this year is the 50th anniversary of Friends of the Ridgefield Library so there will be much to discuss and celebrate. Come and find out what this special gathering place in our community can offer you.
Senior Voices is a free event and hybrid program. Individuals may attend in person or register via Zoom through the library. Participants are invited to enjoy light refreshments and conversation following the program.
